The partnership with World Bank focuses on two programs- Climate Adaptation and Resilience for South Asia (CARE South Asia) and South Asia Hydromet Forum (SAHF). CARE South Asia and SAHF are two complementary initiatives that encompass key components of an effective end-to-end early warning information value chain that underpins RIMES’s service delivery approach.
With a community-facing approach, CARE South Asia is designed to identify and meet societal demands, building capacity at all levels and delivering tailor-made services through integrated data analytics and decision support systems.
SAHF provides an overarching institutional mechanism to ensure a co-production and delivery ecosystem among governments, NMHSs, and user-sector stakeholders through regional data sharing, training forums, forecast verification, and risk knowledge communication.
