As Disaster Risk Management (DRM) Specialist, Shalinda provides support to the RIMES Sri Lanka National Centre for Climate Applications (SNCCA). He coordinates with country partners and provides assistance to project activities at national and community levels.  Shalinda supports the development and implementation of User-Relevant End-to-End, People-Centered Multi-Hazard Early Warning Systems. He assists in project development, monitoring, evaluation and documentation. Shalinda has participated in and facilitated training and workshops on weather, water and climate risk management. Shalinda holds a Master’s degree in Water Engineering and Management and a Bachelor of Science in Civil & Infrastructure Engineering from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand.
