As a Technical Officer (GIS), Asif provides technical support in tools development, operation and maintenance of all GIS tools developed under the projects. He utilizes GIS techniques in selected project areas for better understanding of river and basin characteristics and tool development. He is also responsible for preparation of maps and processing GIS related data. He also assists in the documentation and provides active support in field activities.
Asif has more than 2 years experience in working on government and donor funded projects where he contributed with his expertise in environmental impact assessment, feasibility study and various professional software operations.

He received various training including GIS and Remote sensing, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Project Management etc.

Asif received his Master of Economics (M.Econ) degree in Environmental Economics from University of Dhaka and a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
