Anshul develops hydrological/hydrodynamic models for flood forecasting and warning, and provides technical inputs for assessing climate change impacts on water and agriculture sectors. He also provides coordination support for marine forecasting and climate risk assessment projects.

Prior to working at RIMES, Anshul worked as a Business Development Executive in Siam Kubota Corporation Co., Ltd., Thailand.

Anshul holds Doctoral and Master’s degrees in Water Engineering and management from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, and Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Engineering from Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, India. His specific research areas include analysis of climate change impacts on hydrology, water resources and crop production. His recent work involves downscaling of climate projections, uncertainty analysis in future climate projections, GIS-based analysis, hydrological modeling, crop modeling, etc.
